It all starts with a donation…

Electronics Donation Drive (9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

We are teaming up with the Charlotte Junior Chamber for our third annual electronics donation drive tomorrow at the Park Road Shopping Center (corner of Park Road and Woodlawn Road). Please encourage your friends and families to bring their donations – every donation makes a difference (Check out how they made a difference for Parris). We’ll be on site from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. taking donations, or you can drop off donations at any Goodwill location. Every donor that comes to the drive at Park Road will receive a complimentary entrée coupon from Qdoba. Remember that every donation counts – one computer equals 5.3 hours of career counseling!

Opening our most recent store in Concord

Rock Hill Grand Opening Celebration (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

We will celebrate the grand opening of our new Rock Hill locationtomorrow with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m. The doors will officially open at 9 a.m. and we will have refreshments and giveaways for shoppers.

The new Goodwill Center is located at 1922 Mt. Gallant Road, near the intersection of Celanese Road. Shoppers who attend the grand opening will receive free refreshments from Burley Italian Ices and Food Lion. Free raffles drawing will give you chance to win a one night stay with dinner for 2 at the Marriott Courtyard in Rock Hill along with other great prizes from local businesses.  WRHI and Interstate 107 will be broadcasting live on-site with entertainment and giveaways, and Goodwill mascot Smiling G will greet shoppers.

Proceeds from the sale of donated items at Goodwill’s retail stores fund the organization’s job training and employment programs that assist thousands in the Southern Piedmont region each year. Ninety cents of every dollar spent at Goodwill helps fund these programs. Click here for location information.
