Bride on a budget gets help from Goodwill

November 7, 2012

A local budget-friendly bride had the wedding of her dreams thanks to good friends, Goodwill, and a thrifty mom!

We found out about Aubrey and Brad’s wedding recently and were so inspired by their creativity. Working together with family and friends, they saved thousands of dollars on what would have been very expensive decorations for their wedding by shopping at local Goodwill locations.

The couple used vases, candelabras, jewels, dishes, trays…even birdcages! All of which were transformed using a little love and, in some cases, a little paint and elbow grease, into beautiful wedding decorations.

WBTV’s Maureen O’Boyle showcased the wedding this week during her “Stretching Your Dollar” segment, and we can’t wait for you to see how beautiful this “Goodwill wedding” turned out. Congratulations to Aubrey and Brad!

We want to know – What other tips do you have for budget-friendly brides?
