Back-to-school shopping without breaking the bank? It’s not an urban legend.

August 3, 2010

The time of year that parents love and kids dread is just around the corner: back to school!

You know what that means, right? Back to school shopping.

But you don’t have to break the bank to find great kid’s clothing for the upcoming school year. You don’t even have to suffer through the crowds at tax-free weekend. Instead, head to one (or more!) of our 20 stores, where you can find great clothing and great values every single day.

Plus, you can feel good about the values you find, knowing that 90 cents of every dollar you spend in our stores goes back into our community, funding Goodwill’s job training and employment programs.

Just think: For $5 per outfit, you can dress your kiddo in great-looking clothes at a fraction of department store prices. Since most children’s items at Goodwill are priced at $2.49 each, you can snag an outfit of new and gently-used designer brands for every day of the week for $25! (You can find a full price list on our web site, here.)

But you don’t have to take our word for it–check out the outfits our fabulous stylist and Goodwill shopper Melissa Lamkin pulled together last week. Don’t they look great?
