Back to School Fashion for under $15

August 22, 2011

Some parents across the U.S. will spend hundreds of dollars on back to school shopping this year – but getting ready for school doesn’t have to be expensive!

We were on set at FOX Charlotte this morning with some of our favorite models showing off their back to school fashion finds from two local Goodwill stores.

Our stylist Haley, along with models Mattie, Coble, Heather and Dillon

Along with our stylist, Haley, we shared some fall trends and great finds for all ages, along with tips for shopping at Goodwill. Check out some of our favorite outfits below:

Coble

Coble (kindergarden) showed off the bohemian trend with her flowy maxi dress and denim jacket.

Dress – $2.49
Denim Jacket – $2.49

TOTAL: $7.97

Mattie

Mattie (6th grade) looked very cool and ready for middle school in one of the hottest colors for fall – purple!

Dillon also carried a laptop from our ComputerWorks store: an HP Compaq for only $129.99! We have many computers on sale just in time for school. Basic systems start at $99.99.

When you shop at Goodwill, you are not only are you saving money, but you are giving back to the community by getting people back to work through your purchases.

So we want to know – what trends do you want to try this fall?

Thanks again to Derek and the FOX News Rising team!

YES! GW is the perfect place to do back to school shopping. It’s way too expensive to shop at other stores…especially when kids are growing and will out grow their clothes quickly. Great article 🙂
